It was so sticky and humid yesterday and I was planning to go out and buy ice cream from the nearby store. Luckily I heard bells chiming. It was mamang sorbetero! Without hestitation, I bought a plateful of the cold goodies. I miss the good old times were a simple sorbetes on a sugar cone would make someone’s day. I remember I used to sneak out of the house to buy sorbetes at 1 peso each. Simple joys were cheap back then. Eating sorbetes again made me happy and I felt like a child again.
